Getting to know the Team at Clean-Dezert.org

Clean-Dezert was founded in 2005 by Adam Filbin and Ray Regno. At the time, the were just “white fender kids” looking to do something positive for the off road community and to help prevent BLM land closures, and give back to the land and volunteers.

The man that started it all, Adam, spent many years racing the beloved 1450 class back in the mid 2000's. During this time, he often heard of public lands being closed and he wanted to take some action to make sure he could prevent this. Believing that one person and his friends can make a difference is all it took for Clean-Dezert.org to start making a difference. He used his contacts from racing and friends he has met over the years in the sport he loves to rally the troops. In his off time, he loves to travel with his family and spend time in the garage with his daughter in hopes, that one day, she will enjoy the sport as much as her father.

Landon McQuestion grew up going to the desert with his family at a young age. Over the years he has been involved with a ton of different grass roots racers. Over the course of the last few years, he has been a tremendous help with Clean-Dezert. He is always down to help make sure we succeed at our events, bringing local contractors and friends to help support us. Most times you will find him out by the dumpsters making sure the organized chaos is running smoothly and handing you the winning tickets.

Steve is no stranger to off road as he grew up riding motorcycles. In the early days of Clean-Dezert, Steve came as a volunteer to help make a difference. Steve has a huge sense of adventure from running the Trans-America Trail (TAT - across America on a dirtbike) to week long trips to Death Valley on a motorcycle. He was quick to take on responsibilities with Clean-Dezert in the sense of adventure. He has been a powerhouse that we are glad to have as a member of the team.

While Corey may be the newest member to the team, he brings a ton of value. He's been an integral part of gaining sponsors and bringing in new partners for our events. His desire to keep our public lands open overflows as he discusses these issues with companies in our industry, and this translates to being able to give back to our volunteers. If you want to get involved with what we do or our events, Corey is the man to talk to.

JosB (Really Jose, but everyone knows him as JosB) has had an immense passion for the automotive industry and off road. He jumped onboard in the early 2000s to help build and prep race vehicles which led him to Clean-Dezert. His can do attitude means he is always the first person helping out at events. JosB has taken on responsibilities that have put him on the forefront of expanding our reach to be able to help support some of our sponsors' events. When he isn't helping out at the events, you will find JosB working on his own vehicles or planning trips for his next adventure in the desert.

Trevor is one of the newer members to the team, but has been a long term friend with Adam for the last 28 years. Getting back into the off road community a few years back, he jumped right in to help with Clean-Dezert. If you have ever purchased anything at our events, you likely have had Trevor chatting your ear off and talking you into additional products you didn't know you needed. He definitely brings the fun to the events.
